BACHFIRE EW

BACHFIRE EW 120 is an automatic fire curtain that, in the event of a fire, limits and controls the fire and reduces heat radiation 1 m from the fabric to a level below 15kW/m2.K. Classification EW 120.
The curtain consists of a fiberglass fabric covered with aluminum foil on both sides, sewn together with reinforced steel wire and attached to a steel roller with a diameter of 78 mm. The main body of the curtain, side guides and bottom bar are made of galvanized steel.

Tested according to EN 1634-1 and classified according to EN 13501-2 and also complies with the conditions and procedures for CE marking as set out in EN 16034.

Description

The system can be activated by a smoke exhaust system (SHEV), a fire alarm contact, internal fire and smoke detectors or manually operated emergency buttons. In the event of a fire, the control panel (CBM) receives an alarm signal and the automatic curtain is automatically deployed, with a controlled and safe constant lowering speed, even after a complete power failure of all curtains. In the event of a false alarm, the curtains will automatically return to standby mode once the alarm has been reset by the fire control system. In the event of a power outage, the curtain will remain fully retracted for up to 6 hours thanks to the battery-based backup power system.

The entire system is powered by a 24 V tubular motor and controlled by an electronic board, CRM (Motor Control System) with a Special Gravity Fail-Safe System. The device has an automatic curtain control panel (CBM) with a nominal input voltage of 115 V or 220 V and an output voltage of 24 V. All control panels have an uninterruptible power supply (UPS system) with an autonomous power supply duration of up to 6 hours.
