Piro Multitube PM is a fire-resistant laminate containing a mixture of graphite and other components that make the assembly smooth and flexible and, when exposed to high temperatures, increases its volume by closing the hole with the pipe or cable to which it is wrapped. Fire-resistant laminate is rectangular and is produced in several sizes: 60 x 2,5 mm, 60 x 4 mm, 100 x 4,8 mm. The tape is rolled into 5 m, 15 m and 30 m lengths.<\/p>\n
Piro Multitube PM has the unique feature of interchangeability of sections. The cross-sections of the strips are interchangeable, which means that one cross-section can be replaced by another cross-section, the interchangeability of the cross-sections is indicated in the tables in the product information. The tape should be cut to fit the outer circumference of the pipe, wrapped around the pipe and secured with electrical tape (called a cable tie) or self-adhesive universal tape.
