PROMATECT®-LS is a non-combustible, low-density, white and coloured calcium silicate board with a smooth, sanded finish on one side and a slightly honeycomb texture on the other side.
PROMATECT®-LS is chemically inert and resistant to dilute acids and alkalis. Where high concentrations of chemicals are likely, tiles should be protected.
PROMATECT®-LS is resistant to the effects of moisture and will not physically deteriorate when used in wet or humid conditions. Age and humidity do not reduce performance. Untreated surfaces will absorb water, which can lead to a loss of strength, but once dry the tile will regain its strength. It does not promote mould growth and is resistant to pest attacks.

Flue duct, electrical cable compartment, communication compartment
Processing
PROMATECT®-LS panels can be processed, cut, drilled and milled using commonly available woodworking tools. Dust is generated during the processing of tiles. This can be harmful to health. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Do not inhale dust. Dust must be removed.
Installation
The tiles are installed according to the Promat instructions.
