Piro MULTITUBE Epipe is a simple and effective solution for fireproof sealing of electrical cable penetrations in walls or floors. Piro MULTITUBE E-Pipe is a plastic pipe with a permanently fixed fire-retardant coil on the outside, mixed with graphite and other ingredients, which increases its volume at high temperatures, sealing the hole with the pipe and cables. The principle of operation is exactly the same as for the protection of flammable pipes using a fire damper. They can also be used to protect small diameter non-combustible pipe bundles in FEF (elastomeric) insulation.
