The Piro Collar PC L is supplied as a ready-to-assemble kit to enable any Pirosystem trained and licensed person to make their own fire cuffs in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions supplied. This product solves a large number of non-standard penetrations in pipe penetrations and situations where it is not possible to install a conventional cylindrical fire cuff.
With Piro Collar PC L kits you can easily and quickly build Piro Collar PC to the required dimensions, at the point of installation on the pipe (e.g. on the construction site). It is sufficient to break off the corresponding number of segments of the segmental cover shown in Table 33, attach the connecting elements at its ends and fit the fasteners to the corresponding cover segments (the number of fasteners depends on the size of the cuff). The expanding intermediate piece should be placed in such a complex coating and you are done. For cuffs larger than 125mm, the expandable intermediate piece is first wrapped around the pipe and then a prepared segmented cover is placed on top. A detailed assembly diagram is included in the box, in the instructions supplied with the kits.
Masks are supplied without mounting bolts/anchors. The preassembled cuff is placed around the pipe, closed and then fixed to the structure by means of the fittings, the number of which is given in the table. When building and assembling cuffs, the steps described in the approved PC-IM1 / PC-IM2 cuff installation instructions must be strictly followed.
