Description
Fire Resistant Acrylic Sealant Piro Acrylic Sealant AC120 is a liquid, dense, white-coloured sealant based on an acrylic resin diluted in water with special additives. In a fire situation, the mass compressed into the expansion joints or gaps increases its volume, tightly filling the gaps between structural elements.
Piro Acrylic Sealant AC120 is designed for fire resistant sealing applications:
- expansion joints in the partition walls of the building, taking into account a possible displacement of ± 7,5 % of the fire compartment walls.
- fire door – window and door frame spacing (wood, steel, PVC) – the mass is not a substitute for mechanical fixing of windows and doors to the bulkhead of the building.
- steel or copper pipe casings
- previously protected with Pirosystem products: fire barrier Pirowrap/Multitube PM, fire barrier cuff PiroCollar PC, fire barrier foam Pirofoam when sealing.
